Srinagar/ Jammu: Government is very much concerned about welfare of people of state more by means of assurances and papers works but less on ground practically. After hue and cry over spurious drug circulation, entrepreneurs in poultry business alleged loses worth crores but no one came to their rescue, even not pay a sincere heed.

After doing pillar to post to find a solution for the disease engulfed birds from authorities at the helm of affairs, these budding business men are worried about returns of loan which they had borrowed at the time of establishment of their units. As per the reports some of the traders staged protest many times to get their problem noticed but of no use.
Protesting to get relief in terms of medication to her birds, a woman entrepreneur Hafiza Tariq told news reporters that she has taken loan worth Rs 10 lakh from bank to establish the unit but due the negligent approach by concerned authorities birds are dying in dozens every day and every night. She said that nobody is ready to listen them and extend them a helping hand at this time of emergency.
“Government is watching as mute spectator despite knowing that huge loses had been met to poultry farmers, said Mujeeb a young trader adding that at the time of elections and budget huge assurance are being given that money and assistance for Medicare would be provided to unemployed youth whosoever chooses to take benefit of self-employment schemes”. But, for more than a month poultry farmers are raising hue and cry against manufactures of adulterated feeds and suppliers no one is ready to even listen the farmers, he added.
He urged upon the government to either wave off their loans or make an adequate arrangements for the treatment of ill birds due to adulterated feeds being supplied in the market. Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution was not contacted, despite repeated efforts, for his comments over the issue.
