Now the Rediff gets the Face book Feed

                     Rediff mail users can now receive feeds from networking sites without having to visit them. Users now can register and receive feeds from these social networking sites without having to visit them.

                      Indian portals are increasingly integrating Web 2.0 features to ward off competetion from foreign websites as well as cater to changing user demands. Rediff , for instance, is now integrating news feeds from Orkut and Face book into Rediffmail.

                       The objective of introducing feeds into Rediffmail is to help discover content on social networking platforms which is relevant and useful in an effective and non-intrusive manner, a statement released by the company stated. News feeds with in the mailbox help users find interesting content such as photos, Videos and music that people share on social networking platforms in the mailbox itself.
