Jammu, May 22 (Scoop News) –Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, NPP and Member, National Integration Council urged Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Prime Minister of India for his urgent intervention to save the lives of the newly-born children who are dying in G.B. Pant Hospital, Srinagar for want of infrastructure, adequate staff, sanitary wards, medicines and care. NPP Chief while rejecting an eyewash inquiry committee headed by a government servant as an attempt to divert the attention of the people, he demanded a high power judicial committee to probe into the death of 895 children in 2011 and that of 400 children in 2012 because of the criminal negligence of the government and the Health Department.
