While going through the Congressional Record today I took note of a “blip” under the subsection “executive Communications U.S. House of Representatives regarding the Russian Federation.
Specifically the “continuation of the national emergency blocking property of the government of the Russian Federation relating to the disposition of the highly enriched uranium extracted from nuclear weapons?”
It read as follows:
A letter from the Secretary, Department of the Treasury, transmitting as required by section 401(c) of the National Emergencies Act, 50 U.S.C. 1641(c), and section 204(c) of the International Economic Powers Act, 50 U.S.C. 1703(c), a six-month periodic report on the national emergency blocking property of the government of the Russian Federation relating to the disposition of the highly enriched uranium extracted from nuclear weapons that was declared in Executive Order 13617 of June 25, 2012; to the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Note: This uranium extraction may be the result of destruction of nuclear weapons of the START deal sign by President Obama in August of 2013?

We contacted the White House which refused to comment on this matter? Were not sure if Russia is now refusing to sell the US the nuclear fuel or enriched uranium or what? Probably because the US is waging economic warfare against Russia.
