Hey folks i think the Obama Mania has swept the whole country. Probably i might be exagerrating but in Chennai whichover paper I turn to whether it is the Hindu, Times of India or any Chennai National English newspaper has Obama headlines on them . Historic Inaguration on the capital so runs the caption on the Hindu and in the Times of India Obama steps into History.
We have great discussion how Obama and his family will feel about white House . About the pet animals and how many Indians are going to watch the inaguration function and all small tidbits .
Personally I feel not such leader has received so much media coverage. Indians are looking with hope at Obama .
I really can see why we are so much of us is attracted to Obama being the President . We believe in this man who is an African American and who has about five years experience ,because he is so confident with himself .
In his speech he spoke both in a tone of friendship and also cautioned the country against terrorism. I also feel a Obama is also very much a desired factor in India and I am sure indians will welcome him with open arms.
