So far, it has been revealed that a majority of the students attending the four-year colleges and universities across Pennsylvania have gotten excited about the presidential races. According to the recent poll by CBS News/UWIRE, those college students are planning to vote in the April 22 Democratic primary have given their favor towards Democratic co-frontrunner Senator Barack Obama of Illinois. This is an indication that Obama still has the youth vote.
Among college students in Pennsylvania, Obama has a considerable double-digit lead over Clinton. In terms of points, Obama has a forty-nine percent lead over Clinton. The poll has revealed that it does not matter the types and sizes of the schools. Support amongst those schools has been a constant in favor for Barack Obama. But, those same students feel that McCain does have the experience needed to be commander-in-chief.
They hope that it will eventually be John McCain vs. Barack Obama in regards to the general elections. Amongst the college students, Obama has a sizeable lead over McCain. Should Clinton get the Democratic nomination, she too leads McCain. However, the lead is nothing compared to the lead Obama has over McCain in regards to the college students.
However, nothing is in concrete amongst the students until the voting in the Pennsylvania primary begins. While the polls show that Obama is dominant with college students across Pennsylvania, many things can change in a matter of days that prelude to the April 22 Democratic Primary.
