Obama unbuttons Bush’s formal style

he capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was a logical explanation: Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.
"He’s from Hawaii, OK? He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there,"said adviser David Axelrod.
Thus did a rule of the George W. Bush administration — coat and tie in the Oval Office at all times — fall by the wayside. Obama is bringing change, both in substance and style.
The president arrives at work shortly before 9 am, roughly two hours later than his early-to-bed, early-to-rise predecessor. He likes to have his workout — weights & cardio — at 6.45 am. (Bush slipped away to exercise midday.)
He reads papers, eats breakfast with family and helps pack Malia and Sasha off to school before making the 30-second commute to the Oval Office.
