A decorated Marines voices his opposition to US support for terrorism in Syria on a popular social media site.
Moscow warned yesterday the United States it must respect the territorial integrity and sovereign air space of Syria in accordance with international law when dealing with ISIS.
So far Washington has refused to even acknowledge the role it played in creating and fostering the terrorist group called ISIS (Aka: The Islamic State of Syria and Iraq).
The Obama Administration trained many of the ISIS fighters in camps in Jordan, as well provided the various terrorists groups operating in Syria with weapons. “Some might call this denial”, said P. Jones of Wichita, Kansas an expert in foreign and political affairs.
“To begin with Obama’s policy was a misguided effort from the get go that has essentially backfired on Washington and helped create a humanitarian and diplomatic disaster in Syria. One that has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths and one of the largest refugee crisis’s in the world right now”, Jones said.
The Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov also didn’t mince words warned the US of “the importance of coordinated action… by the international community aimed at countering the threat” coming from the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS).

Lavrov however stopped short or pointing the finger at the US for helping create the problem in the first place. Something many people were hoping he would do in this instance.

“Until at such time that Obama acknowledges his role in creating the problem we can never really deal with the problem of terrorism”, said one Marine Corp enlisted man , who posted his dissent to Obama’s policy using social media (above) by stating: “I didn’t join the Marine Corp to fight for al-Qaeda in a Syrian civil war.” Which sort of sums up the failure of President Obama strategy for confronting and defeating terrorist groups like al-Qaeda and ISIS to begin with.
