Jammu, March 24, (Scoop News)- Online booking of helicopter tickets for Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2014 shall commence on 27th March at 10.00 A.M for Yatra 2014. Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) has made arrangements with Pawan Hans Limited and Global Vectra Helicorp Ltd for providing heli-services on the Neelgrath(Baltal)-Panjtarni-Neelgrath(Baltal) Sector and Himalayan Heli Services Pvt Ltd for heli-services on the Pahalgam-Panjtarni-Pahalgam Sector as informed by Navin K. Choudhary, Chief Executive Officer, SASB. He further informed that on-line booking facility shall be available to the intending Yatris from 10.00 AM onwards from 27th March, 2014 on the websites of the aforesaid Companies i.e www.pawanhans.co.in, www.onlineglobalhelicorp.com and www.himalayanheli.com respectively.
The one way per passenger heli-fare for Neelgrath (Baltal)-Panjtarni and Pahalgam-Panjtarni Sector has been fixed at Rs.1950/- and Rs. 4190/-, respectively.
For information of intending Yatris Choudhary further stated that the Yatris who wish to avail heli service for their pilgrimage are not required to seek Advance Registration through the designated Bank branches as their heli tickets shall be treated as Yatra permits for undertaking the pilgrimage. However, all such Yatris shall not be allowed to board the heli-services unless they produce the required Compulsory Health Certificate issued by authorized Doctor/ Institutes which have been notified by their respective State Governments. These Yatris shall have to furnish Compulsory Health Certificates at the time of boarding the helicopter at Neelgrath or Pahalgam, without which the boarding passes will not be issued to them.
The CEO also informed that with one Credit / Debit Card, a maximum of five passengers shall be booked. The same Credit / Debit Card cannot be used for booking of tickets for next three weeks. The Credit / Debit Card used for booking shall have to be reproduced at the time of issuance of Boarding Pass.
