One bit by stray dog

 

One bite by strays dog. No anti rabbi’s vaccine at Drosh hospital.

 

CHITRAL:       A young man was bite by a stray dog at Drosh some 45 KM from here. No anti rabbi’s vaccine available at Tehsil Headquarters hospital Drosh. According to detail chairman of Pasban and general secretary of Pakistan International Human Rights Organization (PIHRO) Chitral district  Abdul Rashid was bite by a stray dog Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir told this scribe on telephone. Jamal Nasir alleged that when we rushed injured A. Rashid to THQ hospital Drosh there was no anti rabbis vaccine at hospital hence we purchased the same from open market at rupees 4000 he added. He alleged that there is no one to dispose these stray dogs who openly walking and spreading in bazaar. Neither municipal administration arranging for their killing nor Union Council Nazimeen having the fund for this purpose. He appeal to provincial government to release fund to district government of Chitral for killing and dispose up of these stray dogs so as to save other people from their biting. He also appeal to provincial and federal health department for provision of anti rabbis vaccine to Chitral immediately as in case of no vaccinating of stray dog bit its victim might be killed.

 

Law & Order Situation reviewed in Peace committee meeting.

 

CHITRAL: Meeting of peace committee held at the office of District Coordination Officer Chitral under the Chair of District Nazim Chitral and DCO Chitral Mutasim Billah Shah. The meeting was attended by heads of all line department, elected Nazimeen and political figures of Chitral. The DCO Chitral and District Nazim as well as District Police officer Chitral stressed upon the participants to maintain the peaceful environment of Chitral on each and every cost. They said that Chitral is the only district in this region which is safe from any type of militancy, extremism and any other inhuman activities and violation. They said that this is responsibility of every citizen to play his role in maintaining this friendly environment of Chitral. The stakeholders committed and determined to allow no one to deteriorate the present situation of Chitral. They said that peace is the only way of development and enhancing life standard. They emphasized on leaders of all political parties to guide the nation on good path and to retrain  them from any extremism or supporting any element of social evil. The stakeholders comprising over elected Nazimeen, heads of line departments and leaders of different political parties jointly declared that peace of Chitral would be maintain at every cost.
