With several films set to release this year, and several more which are scheduled to begin filming in the beginning of 2015, actress Daniela Junko has quite a busy schedule ahead of her.
Ms. Junko is slated to star in the feature film Sky, which is scheduled to start production in early 2015. “I play the lead character of Sky, a beautiful and compassionate woman whose destiny is to bring justice to the mortal world,” explained actress Daniela Junko. A futuristic film with a twist, mortal man view Sky as the epitome of kindness, but what they don’t realize is that even the most compassionate being has a dark side.
Daniela Junko also stars as Charlotte in the film Three Kings Down, set to be released at the end of the year. Produced by Los Loco Boys Entertainment, and written and directed by Frank Lopez, the screenwriter and director responsible for the award-winning feature films Last Train Out and Tangerine Sky, the film Three Kings Down follows an offbeat cast of card sharks that take a simple game and turn into one with a dangerous ultimatum.
Junko is incredible in the role of Charlotte, an intelligent woman who uses her alluring charm and beauty to get what she wants, freedom. “Playing Charlotte gave me the opportunity to impersonate several different characters within one movie. I had a very smart and talented director who brought me to explore the depths of my acting,” said Junko. “I was able to push myself to an extent that I never thought I would be able to, and I had a lot of fun in the process.”
The film also stars famous Spanish actor Marcos Gracia who is known for his roles in the popular Latin television shows Escenas de Matrimonio, Reina de Corazones, Los Misterios de Laura, Paco’s Men, La Tira, and more.
Some of Daniela Junko’s other films include the psychological thriller Rough Mix, where she plays the starring role of Janelle, The Incision where she stars as Jessica, and Plastic where she plays the role of Joselyn. Ms. Junko also appears as a Thai woman victimized by an unscrupulous drug trafficking organization in the Asian television series Point of Entry, the highest-rated one-hour drama on Channel 5 in the last three years.
A versatile star whose busy film schedule is a testament to the highly sought after place she holds in the entertainment industry, Daniela Junko clearly has a long career ahead of her.
