Opposition parties have resigned from their National Assembly and Provincial Assembly seats

 

“In result of a smart move of opposition in Provincial Assembly of NWFP vote of no confidence move against Chief Minister NWFP is initiated thus Chief Minister has become unable to dissolve the assembly, constitution does not permit a chief minister against whom vote of no confidence resolution is moved at floor of the house to dissolve the assembly, first time in history of Pakistan opposition in NWFP is trying to save the assembly and ruling party MMA is bent upon dissolving it. Meanwhile in a dramatic move members of MMA lead opposition parties in National Assembly of Pakistan have collectively resigned from their assembly seats today, MMA and its allies have also resigned from their seats in Baluchistan, Sindh and Punjab provincial assemblies too,” sources have said.
