I don’t know about you but I get a lot of emails each day. In the old days, I used to file my emails into folders in Outlook. I spent a lot of time dragging and dropping emails from my INBOX to customer folders. Actually, I wasted a lot of time moving emails. Now I rely on Salesforce to folderize my emails. I use an app called Match My Email which automatically files email into Salesforce records. Now when I open a Salesforce record like a Lead, Contact or Account, I can see exactly what is going on with a customer. No more work or worry. The Match My Email app does all the syncing for me.
Match My Email works in the cloud. That means it is always on, 24/7/365. The app looks into my INBOX and Sent folder every twenty minutes for new emails. If Match My Email finds a new email, it uploads a copy of the email to its cloud hosted at Amazon Web Services. There the email is taken apart. The app looks at email addresses, domain names, words in the subject line and tags in the body. This meta-data is used to match emails to the right Salesforce record or records.
Organizing emails in Salesforce works better than organizing emails in Outlook, Gmail or MacMail. Salesforce is a collaboration platform; Outlook is a data silo. Salesforce allows users to share email information; Outlook does not. By sharing my SFDC customer records with other members of the sales team, I am able to see, not only my customer correspondence, but their customer emails as well. This sharing of email data makes our work less prone to error because we all are working off of the same information.
Match My Email works with PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, Android and IBM/Lotus. The best way to quickly see the features and benefits of Match My Email is to schedule a Live Demo.
