Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani told the parliament that the situation will be different with US president Barrack Obama and these cross-border airstrikes through these pilotless drones will come to an end, PM’s statement came at the time when Pakistan summoned the US Ambassador Anne Petterson today and to protest over missile attacks launched by the drones from Afghanistan by US.
There have been 20 strikes in the last three months, moreover, Pakistan says that these strikes will compound their difficulties in the war on a terror and may change the public opinion and support inside Pakistan.
Now these strikes are focused deep inside Pakistan, out of lawless and semi-autonomous tribal territory bordering Afghanistan, Wednesday’s attack on Bannu, where some 5 people were killed, is an example.
