At National stadium Karachi Pakistan won the first Onde Day International by 104 runs against Zimbabwe. Earlier Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to feild first.Pakistan in the alloted 50 ovrers managed to set a good total of 348 runs. Nasir Jamshed and Salman Butt opened the inning for Pakistani,Nasir Jamshed on his debut made 61 runs with outstanding show of timing and striking.Then for the 3rd wicket younas Khan and Mohammad Yousaf with 113 runs partnership made Pakistan’s position stable.Younas khan (79) and Mohammad Yousaf (72), Misbah-ul-Haq (55) not out were the top scorer for Pakistan.
