Recent political events in Pakistan clearly depict a picture of Pakistan which is not identical of its history. People of Pakistan in general with leading role of Lawyers, cival society and political parties have reinstated the deposed Chief Justice, Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhery after a long hard struggle. This had resulted  in a total chaos in general. Finally the President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari had to bow before the demands of restoration of the November 2, 2007 judiciary.

Pakistan a country with ample of issues could not be a better battle ground for such a luxurious demand, independence of judicairy but impossible has happened. This seems to be a beginning for a long struggle to get a transparent and corruption free judiciary from high level courts to lowest courts.

The Chief justice of Pakistan vows to purify judiciary in his first ever statement. Hopes are high but reality check has to be observed to see the outcomes.
