Pakistan participation doubtful for Asian Indoor Games

ISLAMABAD: An special permission will be taken from the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for participation of the Pakistan Snooker team in the Asian Indoor Games.
Pakistan’s participation in the Asian Indoor Games, to be held in Vietnam, is doubtful but president Pakistan Billiard & Snooker Association Alamgir Shaikh said that he would make an special request to the PSB for allowing Pakistani queists to take part in the event.
He said that there are three medals in snooker and Pakistan’s chances of success in the event are bright.
However, the Pakistan Sports Board said that as the performance of the Pakistan contingent in the previous Asian Indoor Games was disappointing thus its participation in the Games this time is looking doubtful.
