The programme of ‘Herath Samaroh’ was attended by a large number of people from across various sections of the society. Jugal Kishore Sharma, MLA and President of Bhartiya Janta Party was the chief guest on the occasion who inaugurated the programme with lighting of the lamp. The other dignitaries who attended the function included Dr. Ramakant Dubey, President-VHP, Dr. Jitender Singh, Ashok Khajuria, MLA, Surender Mohan Agarwal, Shamsher Singh Jamwal, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Priya Sethi and Ravinder Raina. Smt. Sarojini Kuchroo conducted the proceedings of the function and Meenakshi Raina presented the welcome address. Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, President, Panun Kashmir presented the conclusion speech and the vote of thanks. On the occasion, four prominent activists were presented Honours by the Daughters of Panun Kashmir for their outstanding contribution to the society. Deeneshwar Singh Jamwal (Social field), Shriyans Kumar Jain (Philanthropic field), Sardar Manmeet Singh (Religious and cultural field) and Kanchan Sharma (field of Journalism) were conferred special awards by the team of DOPK headed by Virender Raina and Vimla Chrungoo.
