ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Foreign Office spokesperson,Muhammad Sadiq said that Pakistan welcomes the decision to close the Guantanamo detention cell by the new Obama administration. The most controversial prison, established during the previous Bush regime that had been always in the news for the inhuman behavior with the terrorism detainees.
The serious human rights violations those were committed inside that detention cell, never came in the light because of the inaccessibility of the journalists to the cell.
The Guantanamo detention cell, in fact, a torture cell, the world knows very little about that but a scar of worst human rights violations will remain on the US record as well as the dumb world community and United Nations, because no one ever spoke out, neither in the house nor inside UN. The foreign office also added that Pakistan is expecting change in the coming days from the Obama regime, the end to the Pakistan’s difficulties in shape of drone and missile attacks across the border.
In the wake of 911, the stolid dictatorship of Pakistan invited the troubles for the country and whatever is dictated to him from the American establishment, he just complied with, however, that wreaked havoc over Pakistan and the unending war between the Pakistani security forces and insurgents. What brings for Pakistan in the coming days as the Pakistani leadership is expecting a softer stance from the new Obama administration?
