Pakistan,s 63rd Independence Day Celebrated

Pakistan,s 63rd Independence Day celebrated by FCPS at Children Park Chitral.

CHITRAL: Pakistan’s 63rd Independence Day was celebrated at Chitral with great zeal and zest. Frontier Corps Public School (FCPS) Chitral at first children cum family park of Chitral arranged a colorful program in this connection to celebrate the day.  Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Suhail Iqbal was chief guest on the occasion. Students of FCPS participated and presented different national songs, quiz competition. They were also given opportunity to play with confidence and how to overcome any problem. Small girls students of the school participated in filling of balloons, cultural and traditional dress show and presented national songs. There were so many colorful programs on the occasion. Students and teachers also highlighted importance of this day and why we celebrate Independence Day every year on 14th August. On this occasion Commandant Chitral scouts also announced donating a school bus for female staff of the school to pick and drop them. A quiz competition was also held on the occasion where participants and students answered the questions. Students of the school especially girls one enthralled the audiences by presenting national songs with a very sweet tone and motivated the participants to sacrifices their lives for the sack of our motherland. Addressing on the occasion Commandant Chitral Scouts Col Suhail Iqbal emphasized on the students to not only listen and deliver speeches on this day but to prove practically devotion and patriotism towards the country. He said that our elders and great Quaid created this country with great sacrifices and this is responsibility of the young generation to protect it and try of their best for promoting and development of the country. he said that we should to follow our beloved Quaid ,s principles and do hard work day and night.  A large number of students, parents, military officers participated the independence day function. 

Meanwhile  a program of celebrating independence day was also arranged at Govt. Centennial Model High School Chitral. District Coordination Officer Chitral Mutasim Billah Shah was chief guest on the occasion who hoisted national flag in hoisting ceremony. Addressing on the occasion he stressed upon the students to come forward and bring green revolution for sustainable development of the country. he said that this is responsibility of young generation to eradicate abuse of corruption from the society. Tehsil Nazim Chitral Sartaj Ahmad Khan announced to naming School road as Nasir Khisro road and announced of rupees 200000 for construction and maintenance of the road. He also announced rupees 3000 for sweet for students of this school. Students and teaches delivered speeches on this topic to highlight importance of this day in presence of youth. A large number of students, teachers, and people belonging to all walk of life participated in  the function.
