Panchayat & Parliamentary Affairs Minister seeks co-operation of people in restoring peace

       Srinagar, July 21 (Scoop News) -Appealing the people to play proactive role in restoring peace, the Minister for Rural Development, Panchayat and Parliamentary Affairs,  Ali Mohammad Sagar has said that certain forces are trying to plunge the State into chaos to further their narrow political agenda.

            The Minister was addressing a largely attended public gathering here today.

             Sagar said that some groups are trying to exploit unfortunate incidents for their political interests without giving a thought to the problems being faced by the people of the State. He said the Government has already initiated inquiries about various incidents that which have occurred in different parts of the valley.

            The Minister assured people that action would be initiated against those found guilty soon after the government receives inquiry reports. He said that the Chief Minister has already spelt out that nobody, whosoever he may be, would be spared.

            The Minister said that the Government is abreast with the problems being confronted by the people and several measures have already been initiated so that they get the essential items like food, etc. He said people should also understand that their economy as well as the education of the children is being affected and they should come forward and help the Government in restoring peace and normalcy.

             Sagar said that the Government is committed and working steadfastly for mitigating the problems being faced by them and in this regard directions have already been passed to the administration to become prompt for redressing the grievances of common masses.
