Jammu and Kashmir: Lending their support, hundreds of people joined with holding national flag at Gadigrah to exhibit candle light protest in favour of anti corruption crusader Anna Hazare. “Indian government must listen to the demands of the people by passing the Jan Lokpal Bill immediately to curb corruption and Anna Hazare is simply truthful," they said.
Sunita Sharma newly elected Panch said that corruption has become a global issue and Anna has become torch bearer which would help in eradication of corruption at global level. She said political leaders should also come forward and think about the social issue.
The support for Hazare has been increasing day by day country wide and similar is being displayed by people of Jammu. Last evening, around 2000 protesters converged at Gadigarh road and participated in candle march towards the Jammu city. Earlier in the whole day students of schools, colleges and professional institutions were witnessed protesting peacefully.
Vijay Sharma, Sarpanch said that it has become need of the hour that all population from across the country should unitedly come forward and fight against corruption. He said that Anna has shown a path now it is upto masses of country and state in particular to fight against corruption and make pressure upon government to bring in strong Jan Lok Pal Bill.
Other who also joined protest include Ridhi Sharma, Sudershan Sharma, Kewal Krishen, Sunita Ji, Santosh Sharma all Panches.
