Panther Chief urges for Governor Rule in J&K

New Delhi/Jammu, September 14 (Scoop News) – Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman, National Panthers Party and Member, National Integration Council called on P. Chidambaram, the Union Home Minister and urged for urgent intervention of the Govt. of India to save more deaths and destruction in Kashmir Valley by promulgating Governor Rule in J&K which has been bleeding for the past 75 days under strikes, bandhs, stone-pelting and curfews.

According to statement the Panthers Party Chief told the Union Home Minister that, ‘the cardinal principle in democracy is the acceptance of those who rule must enjoy acceptability of the people.’

He told the Home Minister that present Chief Minister of J&K has lost his acceptability in total resulting him into the loss of his credibility. He regretted that father of the Chief Minister who is President of ruling National Conference also besides being a Union Minister has gone on his cricket-pleasure trip to South Africa instead going to his people in Kashmir who are dying like pigeons each day.

Prof. Bhim Singh had repeatedly counseled the Chief Minister of J&K to resign his job courageously so that he keeps his window towards his future intact.

Prof. Bhim Singh while condemning the enemies of peace and religious sanctity of any faith as has been done by some mad Americans by attempting to insult the Holy Quran appealed to the Muslim fraternity in J&K to give classical example of patience that the people of J&K have always demonstrated for half a century.
