Panthers Chief Bhim Singh resorts to hunger strike

Jammu, March 16 (Scoop News) – Panthers Party chief Prof. Bhim Singh resorted to one-day hunger strike in front of Raj Bhawan, Jammu this morning urging Amendment in Article 370 to reorganize Jammu and Kashmir.

The Panthers Party leaders, Prof. Bhim Singh (Chairman-NPP), Harsh Dev Singh, MLA (Working Chairman), Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA (State President) met the Governor at Raj Bhawan and presented a memorandum demanding Reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir on the basis of cultural, geographical and linguistic identities of Ladakh, Kashmir and Jammu.

The delegation which met the Governor also included Anita Thakur and Hari Chand Jalmeria, Adv. (State General Secretaries) and Shri Shakti Gupta (Panthers Trade Union State President).

Prof. Bhim Singh urged the Governor to convene a meeting of all political parties of J&K on the issue of reorganization.
