Jammu, June 01, (Scoop News)- Convener of Panun Kashmir organization, Dr Agnishekhar while maintaining that Panun Kashmir’s demand for separate homeland within Kashmir valley is a reality, said that the leaders of Panun Kashmir are hopeful that Prime Minister, Narendra Modiwill respect the aspirations of Pandits and take steps for reorganization of J&K State.
He said Panun Kashmir is committed to homeland demand as per the Marg Darshan Resolution of 1991 as there was no other alternative to rehabilitation of Pandits in Valley other than carving out a separate homeland on the North East of river Jehlum with UT status.
Dr Agnishekhar was speaking at seminar organized by Panun Kashmir at Jammu Club in Jammu, on the topic “New Situations, New Hopes and New Challenges.”
Out-rightly rejecting the rehabilitation of Pandits at scattered places in Valley the he said that the community has already turned down the same and it will not budge an inch from homeland demand.
Panun Kashmir Convener warned the forces within the community who are harming its cause by hobnobbing on return issue and said that they were playing with the community cause.
Addressing the seminar, Panun Kashmir chairman Dr Ajay Chrungoo said Panun Kashmir is a guiding factor for the community and the homeland slogan was given by PK after marathon discussions when the entire Hindu minority was uprooted from the Valley by the forces inimical to the national interests and who did not want that pluralism should flourish in the Valley.
He said that Panun Kashmir became a reality after mass exodus of the community from Kashmir when a new thinking emerged in Kashmir to uproot and finish the societies.
Dr Ajay said a new hope has emerged in country with taking over of Narendra Modi. Rejecting the concept of Kashmiriyat he said it is not acceptable to Ladakh and Jammu region, he added.
He said the great game of genocide is continuing in this region up to Afghanistan from centuries together and the mandate given to Narendra Modi by the people of this country has evoked a new hope among the people.
Panun Kashmir chairman said there are many intellectuals within country who also are of the opinion that the homeland with UT status was the only solution to the KPs problems.
Sushil Pandit a media consultant who was the guest speaker in the seminar said Narendra Modi started his campaign meticulously and got the support of masses from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Prof.M.K.Teng senior most political analyst also addressed his vital views regarding exodus of Kashmiri Hindus and upcoming of New Challenges/Hopes in current political developments.
O N Trisal and Kuldeep Raina general secretary Panun Kashmir also spoke in the seminar while the programme was compered by Shalinder Aima.
