Patna boy Mrigank sharad has made Bihar proud recently by receiving the Prestigious Prime Minister Medal , topping the list of M. Tech (department of Electronics and Electrical communication engineering) among all the faculties, IIT Kharagpur, India. Human resource development minister Kapil sibbal presented the Gold medal to Sharad at the recently concluded 56th convocation of IIT Kharagpur.
Sharad is former student of Loyola High school, Patna. He joined IIT Kharagpur in 2005 through IIT-JEE in which he scored all India rank 325. He has been selected as a research Scholar at the Purdue University (Indiana) USA. University has awarded him full scholarship. he has specialization in Semiconductor device physics, Semiconductor device modeling , Analog and digital VLSI circuit design, Architectural design of IC’s ,Low Power VLSI design, VLSI Manufacturing technology, VLSI CAD, VLSI Technology CAD and Advanced semiconductor devices.
