Union minister of state for urban development Ajay Maken on star day said genuine grievances of lower grade government employees on the sixth pay commission recommendation had been partially agreed to by finance minister P.Chidambarm.
These changes have been introduced as errata by the panel to their recommendations.The issues taken up by Maken with the finance minister during his meeting on apirl2 along with representative of the national confederation central government employees and worker included raising of transport allowance of employees below grade pay of 4,200 and have been partly has recommended a grant of Rs1,600 plus DA to group B, C And D Employees/personnel Drawing per-revised basic pay of 4,000 and above
