PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti received minor injuries in road accident, narrow escape

Jammu, September 10, (Vijay Kumar) –  Chief of Peoples Democratic Party, main opposition party in Jammu and Kashmir, Mehbooba Mufti received minor injuries in a road accident near Jhajjar Kotli on Jammu-Srinagar National highway on Thursday. Doctors on emergency duty in Government medical college, Jammu gave first aid treatment after conducted her thorough examination before allowing her to go home, PDP leader said

Jammu based News Agency Kashmir Independent Press (KIP) said that Mehbooba, accompanied by party leder Balbir Singh Manhas and PSO’s was returning from Doda  when she met with an accident. The accident occured due to malfunctioning of her car tyres.

KIP quoating police, “Mehbooba Mufti was hurt in road accident near Jhajjar kotli  as her car rolled down after one of the car tyres suddenly came out".Mehbooba was immediately rushed to the emergency block of the Government medical college hospital  in Jammu where doctors present on emergency duty gave her first aid treatment and stitched her wounds.

News agency KIP quoating Senior party leaders said”Mehbooba Mufti was returning from Doda when her car met with an accident near Jhajjar Kotli on Thursday evening.
