Srinagar, October 12(Scoop News)- Lashing out at the Opposition for being bogged by intrigue and a general lack of accountability the National conference today stated that PDP leader is working on the Nazi ideology.
“She thinks herself as the next Adolf Hitler, the assembly is witness to her saying that “Mei sirf bolungi, merey party ka aur kon bolayga aur kya bolayga (Only I will speak. From my party what and who other will speak now” said Omar Abdullah’s Political secretary Tanvir Sadiq today adding “She is so carried away by the Nazi ideology that she thinks from her party only she is a profound thinker and others are illiterates”.
“She is working on the principle applied by Hitler that she is the Leader of the Party, and others are in a lesser degree and slaves to her” he added “One of PDP senior leader was not wrong when he had said that PDP’s cabinet is a kitchen cabinet and is run by father and daughter.”
Addressing a huge delegation here today the Political secretary rebuked the Peoples Democratic Party for its petty politics, and on saturday came down hard on “political leaders who are trying to gain political mileage by blowing everything out of proportion and confusing the masses.”
“They will not succeed because the people know their politicking against democracy and their one point agenda to weaken National Conference ,” said Tanvir “When the state’s politicians on VK Singh needed to stand united they(PDP) were hardly interested in discussing it ,” he added.
Hitting out at the PDP- BJP and other opposition parties for lacking a development agenda, Tanvir said they only knew to “build walls between communities to achieve their selfish ends”.
Describing peace, development and social harmony as prerequisite for state’s accelerated progress, he said, “you (the people) will have to think in which direction you want to take Jammu and Kashmir.”
Tanvir said this government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah in the state has brought in “historic” schemes and initiates like , Right to Information Act (RTI), Public service guarantee act (PSGA) , Accountability Commission, Panchayat Raj system and schemes like NREGA, which benefited weaker sections the most.
“Did those now in the Opposition do anything while they were in power? Did they take steps to bring in RTI, PSGA or NREGA, Udaan, Skewpy… No. We brought it.” said Tanvir adding “Land to tiller Act has changed the destiny of people of J&K and it is due to this act, the economy of people of the state particularly valley survives still in two decades of long turmoil”.
“History stands testimony to the fact that the party from inception fought to redress the political and developmental issues of people of J&K” said Sadiq adding “Our focus is on welfare of weaker section of the society from any part of the state , we don’t differentiate between caste , creed, colour or religion like PDP”, he said
