Peaceful & complete Bandh was observed in Jammu:BJP

  Jammu, April 09(Scoop News) — BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas said BJP take this opportunity to congratulate people for extending full support to Jammu bandh.

Except BJP all local MLAs of Congress and NC have failed to discharge their duly to protect the interest of J&K, especially of Jammu region by voting in favour of bill to ban Inter District Recruitment. This was alleged by Shamsher Singh Manhas while addressing media persons.

 He said the Jammu bandh was suporrted by Bar Association Jammu, Transport and Trade Organizations. Various Sikh Organizations, All J&K Shri Guru Ravi Sabha, Panun Kashmir, Amar Khashtriya Sabha, All J&K Mahasha Sadar Sabha, Arora Bans Sabha, Brahman Sabha, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, All J&K SC/ST United Front, Shiv Sena (United), Central University Andolan Samiti, Sanatan Dharam Natak Samaj, Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Bhagat Maha Sabha, Saraiara Sabha and Anusuchit Jaati Aarakshan Bachao Manch to make the Bandh successful. 
  It is due to the pressure of Jammu people, government have excluded SCs from the Bill but all is not well. Government has proved its anti-Gujjar and Bakerwal stand and PDP is also not exception to it.
Government have exploited Gujjars and Bakerwals for their pitty vote bank but they are not their well-wishers but termites on their future. Governemnt have failed to protect the interest of Jammu and Ladakh properly. What justification they have to pass anti Gujjar-Bakerwal anti-OBC Bill?
Mehbooba Mufti have openly offered to vote and join hands with NC if bill is brought in original form, this has exposed Kashmir centric approach of these parties. Why Jammu based leaders and parties cannot have a common aproach over issues of common interest? he questioned.
BJP chief said that complete bandh was observed in  Jammu, Rajouri, Chenani, Samba, Kathua, Hira Nagar, Basohli,Billawar, Akhnoor and many other towns of Jammu province. At these places protest demonstrations were held and effigies of the state government were also burnt. He declared that BJP will continue its struggle till the goal is achieved.
