Peer Employment Training changed my life

The matrix of human relationships are dynamic systems that constantly change and evolve. How we form and maintain those relationships are critically important in the quantity and quality of our lives.

Peer Employment Training has opened up for me a whole new way of understanding the importance of human relationships.

“Relationships”, they say are the foundation of peer support.

In my case  Peer Employment Training (PET) has changed my life for the better and helped me improve my relationships with others.

For one, I am much more understanding of people who are different from me. I am less prone to engage in argument or take offense at people.

More over people around me are beginning to see a real change, in terms of my overall demeanor and attitude in life.

I have even been told I am more “empathetic” and patient with others I interact with on a daily basis – in a way that is much more life affirming and positive.

Human beings are innately social and we are shaped by their experiences with others. Relationships lay at the heart of that.

In addition interpersonal relationships are dynamic systems that constantly change.

I can honestly say that Peer Employment Training has made me a better person.

It has also completely changed the way I look at things and process information. So in many ways it is “transformative” in nature.

Dr. Wayne Dyer, in his book “I Can See Clearly Now” calls these kind of experiences “quantum moments.”

These are experiences that are completely unexpected and have the power to transform your life.

For me, taking part in the PET training course at Recovery Innovations in one of those transformative moments in life I will never forget.

I am especially thankful to my instructor Chris Martin who taught me how critically important human relationships really are in terms of recovery.

I also wish to thank all my fellow classmates of the 106th graduating class “Peer Dynasty” – without all your help and support I might not have completed the course.

I am also thankful to Dan Morrow at Recovery Innovations who gave me the opportunity to received this type of specialized training. For more information on Peer Employment training call Toll Free: (866) 481-5361 or (602) 650-1212
