Pennsylvania GOP Attacks Obama On Wright In Last-Minute Ad

There is only one day left until US Election Day on November 4. In the state of Pennsylvania, the Republicans are launching a new ad as a last-ditch attack against Democratic Presidential nominee Senator Barack Obama of Illinois.

This new last-minute ad attacks Obama on his relationship with the controversial Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Wright is known for his notorious “God Damn America” sermon.

If you think you could ever vote for Barack Obama, consider this: Obama chose as his spiritual leader this man,” said the ad’s narrator.

So far, Pennsylvania’s GOP is taking the initiative to attack Obama on the relationship with Wright.

However, GOP Presidential nominee Senator John McCain made the decision not to attack Obama on the relationship with Wright. However, his VP running-mate Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and several other aides had urged him to attack Obama on Wright’s relationship.

In this regard, how effective is this last-minute ad going to be?

According to a commentary made a few weeks back by CNN contributor and GOP strategist Ed Rollins, he explains that attacking Obama on his associations with Wright and William Ayers (Ayers is the founder of the Weather Underground) are legitimate tactics.

However, Rollins explains that few voters care about that stuff due to most voters worrying about the possibility of their savings, retirements, jobs, and homes going down the drain.

Since Election Day is a day away, how effective will this last-minute ad be?
