People are the source of the germs.

Many surfaces and objects that you come in contact with every day are covered in germs.But also you are covered with them.

90% of you is composed of germ cells.So the most important mechanism to prevent infections is to wash your hands.

Here are some things there you can find many bacteria and viruses.

Purses and wallets.

They pick up a lot of bacteria from what goes into them.

Paper currency has a way of getting around from germ-filled hand to germ-filled hand.

Men often keep their wallet in the pockets.The wallet is close to body temperature – an ideal temperature for bacteria to breed.

Remote control.

People are constantly handling their remote control´s – and nobody ever disinfected them.

No wonder that it is often the dirtiest object in a hotel room.

Laundry machines.

The laundromat is hardly a bower of cleanliness,but even laundry done at home is rife with germs.

To minimize exposure to harmful bacteria,do the laundry that requires bleach as a first load to disinfect the machines and saving undergarments to a final load.

Cutting board.

You may be better of preparing your food on another surface.

There are 200 times more fecal bacteria on a cutting board than a toilet seat.

The reason is,that many people rinse off their cutting board rather than thoroughly washing it.

Phones.

The phone provides a convenient meeting place for 2 different sources of germs – those from your hands and from your mouth.

A study done in Israel showed that 20% of the hospital worker´s cell phones had some form of harmful bacteria.

Water fountains.

The moist surface area on the average water fountain is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and viruses.

Research has shown that water fountain spigots often have twice the amount of bacteria as a toilet seat.

Buttons.

These innocuous-looking offenders are dificult to avoid,which is part of the reason why push buttons can be crawling with germs.

Buttons found on ATMs,elevators,telephones and drink machines,amog other thing,are located in areas that are not often cleaned and disinfected to kill bacteria and viruses.

Airplane bathroom.

These places are problably the worst place.

Airplane bathroom get cleaned,but beacuse of the high volume of people they must cater to in a short amount of time,leaves them very dirty very quickly.
