Pets Are Suffering Cruelty At The Hands Of Owners

I’ve been reading and watching television news pertaining to the mistreatment, cruelty and abuse of animals especially people’s pets. Some of these animals have been abused so badly that it causes a person to stop and contemplate how in the world a human being could do such an act of cruelty to an animal and feel it is okay? It caused me to question, “Do they have a heart and soul; and if they hurt animals how do I know they won’t hurt a human being?”

It’s my firm belief that any person treating an animal with neglect and maliciousness, they should be made to register as an animal abuser and the information should be made available to the public. Animals suffer pain and hurt just as humans do and it’s terrible to see an animal suffer without any respect for their lives.

I have a message for those who neglect and are cruel to animals they should take the time to read the Holy Bible, King James Version, and in the Old Testament and in the book of Genesis 1:24, it tells people, “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping things, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.”

The Bible also tells man in the Old Testament and in Proverbs 12:10, “A righteous man regards the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.”

It’s my opinion God’s telling man in this verse to take care of the animals in their care and cruelty to them is wicked and evil. God’s word also tells people in Exodus 23:4, “If you meet your enemies ox or his ass going astray, you should surely bring it back to him again; and In the Old Testament in Exodus 23:12, it tells people, “Six days you shall do your work, and on the seventh day you shall rest: that your ox and your ass may rest, and the son of your handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.”

People no-one should ever treat God’s creation with contempt…none of it! If they do, they’re treating our Creator with contempt too. God has called people to be stewards or trustees of his creation, and it’s our responsibility to treat animals as such. People who harm God’s creation are harming God and they bring hurt to themselves as well as the animals they’re abusing.

My pet is one of the greatest friends in my life, its behavior is as a human’s, caring, knowing when I’m sick, loving, understanding, and such a marvelous companion. Animals have a heart and soul and they feel pain and hurt just as a human does and it’s my belief if anyone hurts these creatures God will hold them responsible. Animals teach humans how to love and to be patient and a companion to others; don’t you know this all came from God because he cares for them and watches over them continuously just as he does his people?

God’s word also tells people in the Old Testament in Isaiah 12:6, “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.”

It’s my belief God’s word is telling people what a beautiful and wonderful place he is building for them to live in when people gather in heaven to be with him. There aren’t going to be any wild animals…heaven is going to be a place of peace and happiness and if it were not so, God would not have told people this in his word. There’ll be “no” wild animals in heaven but they’ll be loved pets for all to love and share as companions.

I’ve heard people ask, “Will my pets be in heaven with them, it’s my opinion God is a loving God as it tells people in the New Testament in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “But it is written, eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.”

I believe our pets will be there because all things are possible through God. I don’t believe God wants his people to suffer without something they’ve cherished and loved so much.
