Jammu, October 17 (Scoop News) –It is a long wait for the result of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management (PGDHHM) of the Indira Gandhi National
Open University (IGNOU) for the candidates who appeared in the examination in December last year.
Ten months have passed but the IGNOU has failed to declare the result of the candidates of the Jammu centre who completed the course in the medical college here.
While officials of the local regional centre of the IGNOU claim that the marks list has been dispatched to the main office at Delhi for compilation of the result but the latter feign ignorance over the issue and say that they have not yet received the marks.
The coordinator of the course in the medical college said that he had dispatched the marks of practical and theory to the local centre of the IGNOU in January this year. The marks list was dispatched twice as the IGNOU claimed that they had not received the one sent earlier.
The candidates were worried that they were losing precious time due to
callous attitude of the IGNOU authorities.
It has been alleged that the functioning of the IGNOU was not streamlined here despite repeated complaints by candidates of various courses.
