Chitral Association for Mountain Area Tourism (CAMAT) held Revival of Traditional Festival

CHITRAL: Traditional festival ‘Phindik’ was held with colorful events in Parkusap, a picturesque village of Mastuj, here. The event was organized by Chitral Association for Mountain Area Tourism (CAMAT) under SGAFP initiative to revive traditional games, festivals, foods and costumes.
More than 400 people, both male and female, participated in the event. The activities included traditional food competition, traditional games and traditional music.
Prominent social worker and cultural activist, Mr Amiruddin, was chief guest on the occasion. Prizes were distributed amongst the best performers in various events of the festival. In the end, the local community resolved to hold the event every year with traditional fervor and zeal.
