There arises a new twist in the ECB(England Cricket Board) controversy.Kevin pietersen who has quit the Captaincy,has alleged that he never resigned from his captaincy and the ECB has not yet disclosed to him, the reason of dropping him down from the captaincy.
Pietersen said that he had held meetings during the Test matches in India with ECB chairman Giles Clarke, ECB managing director Hugh Morris and ECB chief executive David Collier. He said his email was taken as an offer of resignation and ECB sent him mail to accept it.
The ECB officials have said that they are not sure whether any guarantees have been given to him reagarding the resignation either.
