The most memorable memories and adventures are always the ones that are unplanned. Heading out without a set plan gives you flexibility. Since nothing is reserved far ahead of time, you aren’t fastened to one agenda and can turn to something other than what’s expected when something better tags along. Letting the day develop haphazardly can prompt thrilling adventures. Now, this may sound intimidating to a few because hey, you have no idea where you’ll end up. What if you run into a serious problem? It may not sound like a smart thing to do and people rather take precautionary measures to avoid serious situations but what’s fun in that? Knowing where you’re going to stay, what you’re going to eat, what places you’ll go visit seems like a drag. However, expecting the unexpected, not knowing where you’re going to stay or what you’re going to eat seems more like an adventure.
It’s understandable why people like to plan. They want to cover as much as possible; it’s a race against the clock. Be that as it may, in travel, toning it down would be ideal. Investing more energy in one spot permits you to improve feel for the musicality of life. It empowers you to visit at a more casual pace, see more than simply the highlights, and open up your calendar to the cheerful accidents of travel.
That being said, this does not mean you just decide you’re going on a trip and just head out. That won’t be adventurous but rather silly. There are a few essentials you need to pack before heading out.
Clothes- do I need to tell you that?
Do not carry too many clothes as if you’re shifting there. 5 pairs of T-shirts, 2 Shirts and 2 pairs of jeans should be enough to get you through the trip. Carry 5 pairs of underwear or boxers whatever you prefer because hygiene is important. We don’t want to be disgusting. Make sure to keep leather or a wool jacket with you in case it gets a bit cold. Even if it doesn’t you could throw it on a shirt for a casual look.
Shoes- keep an extra one
Carry a pair of slippers and a pair of sneakers something you’re entirely comfortable in. You haven’t planned where you’re going so keep in mind there will be a lot of walking. Keep an extra pair of shoes just in case your existing ones meet an accident and get torn.
Passport and important documents
Carry your passport and other documents with you at all times. Again, your trip isn’t planned so you don’t know whether you’ll be going back to where you stayed the night and you never know where you’ll end up next so you need to have your identification with you at all times.
Cash at all times
It goes without saying carry your wallet with you at all times. Take a specific amount of money with you and do not come back home till you run out of it all. Keep your adventure going till there’s money in your wallet and let your trip take you to new heights and thrills every day. Gather all the vouchers with the best coupon codes that you’ve kept for the best time as this is the time when you need them the most. That’s the beauty of it, you have no idea of what’s going to happen next, whether you’ll go home tomorrow or you won’t, whether you’ll even be in the same city the next hour or you decide to take the train and decide to explore new places. Trust me when I say this that it’s absolutely magical and with friends you never want it to end.
Toiletries and medicines
Medicines are a must in case you fall ill somewhere in the trip. Maybe the food didn’t go well with your system or you caught a cold. The last thing you need is for something like this to bring you down. Hence, carry medical supplies with you so you can bounce back up within no time.
Toiletries are a must like I mentioned above, hygiene is crucial. You cannot last a day anywhere if you neglect basic hygiene. Basic toiletries may include the toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, shampoo and face wash. You have to stay clean; going on an adventure doesn’t mean you stop staying clean. Like the many times I’ve mentioned above, you have no idea where you’re going to be staying so it’s preferable you carry these essentials with you.
No need of bringing suitcases and extra hand carries with you. None of that extra hassle just pack a bag keep all the items mentioned above, buy a ticket to an unknown city in an unknown country and head out. Don’t even plan where to go immediately once you land, and your adventure starts the moment you leave the airport. It’s going to be scary at first but the thrill and excitement you’re going to experience is something like never before.
