PML-N Decides to Sit In Opposition

The coalition partner in the government in Pakistan, The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has decided to sit in the opposition after talks failed with the Pakistan People’s Party to restore the judiciary sent home by former president Pervez Musharraf.

The decision was taken at a PML-N meeting in Islamabad on Monday evening. The PML-N also said it would field retired Justice Saleemuz Zaman Siddiqui as its own candidate for the post of President against the PPP’s Asif Ali Zardari. The election for the president’s office is slated to be held on september 6.

I love my Chitral that is located in the north-west of Pakistan. People of Chitral are famous all over the world for their rich culture, traditions and love for music. I write here and in other media just to explore the beauties of Chitral which still remain unexplored.
