A 45-year-old businessman was allegedly beaten to death by three policemen in plainclothes who went to his west Delhi house in connection with a bounced cheque.  The three went to his house in Tilak Nagar on Friday night and beat him up so badly that he fell on the floor unconscious, his wife, Ms Kiran, alleged.  The three then tried to flee but one was caught by neighbours. The other two got away in a car, she said.  Nirmal was rushed to Guru Gobind Singh Hospital and died while being shifted to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital. His body has been sent for post-mortem
