Police Constable shot in South Kashmir

 

 

Srinagar/ Anantnag, October 25 (Scoop News)-  One police constable was injured when some unknown militants fired upon him at General Bus Stand, Anantnag in South Kashmir.

          Police said that some unknown militant fired upon a police constable Anzar Ahmad Mogal 1935/R at General Bus Stand, Anantnag resulting in his injuries. The injured constable was shifted to SKIMS, Srinagar for treatment.

 

Meanwhile three CRPF jawans were injured in two different grenade blasts in Srinagar city.

 

Police said that three CRPF jawans sustained injuries when unknown militants hurled a grenade on a 132 Bn CRPF bunkers at Akhara Building, Maisuma, Srinagar. All the injured were shifted to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar for treatment.

 

Meanwhile, in another similar incident a grenade was hurled on a CRPF bunker at Batamaloo. However, there was no loss of life and property.

 

 

Man injures in road mishap  

 

A vehicle without number plate hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Hassan Hajam age 75 years son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Drangbal at Drangbal, Baramulla falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sheeri.

 

The injured was shifted to district hospital Baramulla, where from he has been referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.         

 

 

Bung cultivation destroyed in Anantnag  

 

Anantnag police alongwith Excise team destroyed bung cultivation spread over 60 kanals of land at village Dupatyar, Anantnag falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara.        

 

 

Leopard injures a man in Budgam  

 

Ghulam Rasool Ganie age 24 years son of Abdul Ahad resident of Dalwash, was attacked by a leopard at village Dalwash, Budgam falling under the jurisdiction of police station Khag, resulting in injuries to his forehead. The injured was shift to Public Health Center Khag for treatment.
