Police identified 11 indian tourists who died in accedient at Zojila in Kashmir

Srinagar October 26 (Vijay Kumar) –  11 persons including ten non local tourists and a local sumo driver died and 11 persons including a local child were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.

 

Police said on Monday that One Tata sumo bearing registration number JK07/0842 carrying tourists of Ahmadabad Gujarat skidded of the road and fell down in to a deep gorge at Captain Mode, Zojila, Ganderbal, on Sunday late last night, resulting in death of ten tourists and a local Sumo driver, during this road accident only one child namely Hait Vohra son of Darshan Vohra resident of Ahmadabad Gujarat survived who is under treatment at SKIMS Soura Srinagar.

 

So far bodies of two children have been recovered, while nine bodies are still lying in the gorge. The identification of dead tourists and local sumo driver are Darshan Vohara, Anjili Vohara, Rajesh Shaw, Asmita Shaw, Parshaw Shaw, Pakshal Shaw residents of 302 Pahrji Khusalpole Kharwad, Vas Sarkleg Sam Ahmadabad Gujarat, Chiraj Thakar, Sunita Thakar resident of Plot No. 41 Baghwat Nagar society behind Govindwada Ahmadabad Gujarat and driver Fayaz Ahmad Raina son of Abdul Ahad Raina resident of Sarbal, Sonamarg.

            One Truck bearing registration number PB06H/2757 hit the bathrooms of police department at Jawahar Tunnel Kulgam, resulting in partial damage to five bathrooms. Driver arrested and vehicle seized. Police has registered a case in this regard.

            One Wagan-R car bearing registration number JK09/3792 hit and critically injured a deaf and dumb pedestrian at Flyover National Highway Baramulla, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Pattan. Injured was shifted to Sub- District Hospital Pattan. Driver fled away alongwith vehicle from the spot. Police has registered a case in this regard.

            One Alto car bearing registration number JK01L/2866 turned turtle near Sumbal Bandipora, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Sumbal, resulting in injuries to the driver namely Jameel Ahmad son of Abdul Rehman Giloo and Mohammad Aslam Dar son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar residents of Buchpora Umerhair, Srinagar. Injured have been shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

            A Tipper bearing registration number JK02/2137 hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04A/2792 at Guripora Hyderpora Budgam, resulting in injuries to three persons. Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.

            An Army vehicle (Casper) bearing registration number 99R0061920318K of 14-RR hit an Auto bearing registration number JK05A/7991 at Ajas Bandipora, resulting in injuries to four passengers . Injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.
