Islamabad, Pakistan: The disqualification of the opposition leaders by the Pakistani courts has led the country to a political turmoil.
Now the opposition parties likewise Pakistan Muslim League (N), Jamat-e-Islami, and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf are taking out rallies and the opposition parties have called out for a long march on the 16th of March.
The security forces have started a crack down on the political activists and the lawyers who are also the part of these rallies to restore the deposed judges by the previous military dictator Pervaiz Musharraf.
The Sharif Brothers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif are leading the rallies in different parts of Pakistan.
The security forces are making efforts to apprehend the marchers and preventing them from reaching Islamabad.
The chief of PML (N), Mian Nawaz Sharif condemned the arrests of the political activists and marchers by the Pakistani security forces.
The lawyers’ movement has entered a new phase now and after the call of long march, the lawyers’ movement led by Aitezaz Ahsan has also called on the lawyers to make the presence possible in the long march for the restoration of deposed judges and for a free and independent judiciary.
The convoys of the marchers have started traveling towards Islamabad and the Police are trying to block the roads and checking the marchers to reach Islamabad.
