Ponting’s Perth wicket on top says Ishant

"Ricky Ponting’s wicket at Perth is one dismissal that is on top of my mind," said Ishant on Jan19 2009.

"Sri Lanka are a good side. They have good opening combination in (Sanath) Jayasuriya and (Kumar) Sangakkara, plus they have (Mahela) Jayawardene also. They have a lot of good players who have done a lot for their country. Our effort would be to win the series as we did earlier," said Ishant.

"No, there is nothing like it since we have played with Kookaburra balls in Australia and got reverse swing to full extent in Adelaide and Sydney. We will put in our full effort to get it, though, yes it is a bit difficult to get reverse from Kookaburra ball as compared to SG balls but it also depends on the conditions."

He further added, "In India, the conditions are dry where reverse swing is easier to get, while New Zealand is windy so we will try to use new ball to full advantage and pick wickets."
