Qari Faizullah Award giving Ceremony held.
CHITRAL: To encourage and motivate towards modern education Qari Faizullah Award giving ceremony held at Government Centennial Model High School Chitral. District Nazim Chitral Haji Maghfirat Shah was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided over by Qafi Fathullah President Jamiat Ulumai Islam (JUI) Chitral. The ceremony was started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir while students of different schools presented Naath Sharif and national songs. Addressing to the ceremony the speakers said that Islam is not against of development and always stressed upon seeking knowledge and learning modern skill and educations. They said that Qari Faizullah belongs to a religious party but this is 7th time that he arranging award and cash prize giving to students who took first, second and third position in matriculation examinations. They said that he spent 100000 each year for students for giving them cash award also giving away Iqra Symbol to those schools whose students show best performance in annual result. At last chief gusts and other intellectual distributed cash awards and Iqra symbol and shield. Those who were given cash awards were introduced as follow. Fareeha Shuja daughter of Shuja Ahmad securing 881 marks in metric examination by who was declared 1st position holder she is a student of Government Centennial Model high school for Girls Danin Chitral, Junad Ahmad son of Rashid Ahmad was declared 2nd Position holder by securing 850 marks who read in Govt. Higher Secondary School Drosh and Fahimuddin son of Gul Muhammad Khan who obtained 842 marks and secured third position he is a student of Government High School Kosht Chitral similary Alina Shahid daughter of Agha Shahid Nawaz was given 1st position holder award who obtained 901 marks a student of G.D. Lingland School & College, Jvid Iqbal son of Muhammad Iqbal was awarded 2nd position holder award who obtained 897 marks in metric examination who is a student of Broze Public School Broze and Muhammad Sohail son of Muhammad Ismail was awarded 3rd position holder award who obtained 880 marks a student of Singoor Public Schol Singoor. It is worth to mention here that first position holders were given rupees 25000 cash award, 2nd position holder was given 15000 cash award and 3rd position holders were given 10000 cash award. They also given special award (cash) and Iqra symbol to Naji Khan Naji who wrote Khowar dictionary first time and Principal of this school Abdul Karim Khan they also awarded Iqra Symbol to principals of those schools whose students show excellent and best performance in the matriculation examination.
Addressing on the occasion district Nazim stressed upon the participants and students to must play a vital role in protection and prosperity of the country he said we are in the position to survive only because the situation is worsen day by day. At last they also offered Dua and praying for the prosperity and protection of the country. those who spoke on the occasion were Maulana Khaleequz Zaman Khateeb Shahi Masjid Chitral, G.D. Lingland Principal of Lingland School and College, Abdul Karimm Khan principal of Govt. Centennial Model High School, Major retired Ahmad Saeed of JUI and Qazi Fathullah president of JUI Chitral. A large number of students and educationists participated in the Qari Faizullah Award ceremony.
