Possible attack and thread to Ismaili and Kalash community by Taliban.
Grand peace Jirga (seminar ) held at Bumborat Kalash valley.

CHITRAL: Due to recently thread to Ismaili and Kalash community by Taliban for forcible conversion to Islam people of Chitral feared of possible Taliban attack and were passing under uncertainly situation. To satisfy local people a grand peace conference (Jirga) was held at Bumborat Kalash valley under the chair of Col Naeem Iqbal commandant Chitral scouts. While the grand peace seminar was also attended by Deputy commissioner Chitral Muhammad Shuaib Jadoon, District Police Officer Ghulam Hussain, Major Murtaza officer commanding , Lieutenant Murtaza of army unit deployed at Pak Afghan border near Kalash valley as well as elites from Kalash, Ismaili and Sunny communities.
Addressing to the peace seminar Col Naeem Iqbal said that Chitral Scouts, Police, border police, elite force and Pakistan Army have been deployed on all borders and are red alert to comprehend and overcome any circumstances. He said that our forces are compatible to encounter any untoward situation. He stressed upon the local people to be satisfy and take no tension of Taliban thread. He said that video released by Taliban is old of 2011 but it was projected in media and that is why Supreme Court of Pakistan also took suo moto action in this regard. He emphasized on local people to be united and never allow any hidden hands to disturb their unity and mutual harmony.
Elites from Kalash, Sunny and Ismaii community said that they are fully hopeful that they will be protected by our security forces. They suggested for deployment their spy persons to collect any information about new comer person in the valley. They urged on the government for construction of roads and giving possible facilities to residents of the valley. They demanded for giving preference in recruitment in border security forces, police, chitral scouts and other employment to youth of this neglected and backward area because they cannot compete to youth of other developed areas. By this way their frustration will be eliminated and they will feel ownership feeling as well as they will be encouraged to discourage any insurgency.
They also demanded for separate schools for girls students of the valley because there are no girls schools and they are compelled to read in boys schools.
Deputy Commissioner and other officers of district administration said that they already working for Kalash valley and have approved a hostel for 100 students and 3 mega project in annual development plan. As road condition will also be better in near future.
Some elites from Kalsh community like Barzangi, Saifullah, Pehlawan, Wazir and other expressed their full confidence on Pak army and also assured for any sort of cooperation for maintaining exemplary peaceful environment of Kalash valley as well as Chitral. A large number of people belonging to all walks of life including leaders of political parties attended the grand peace jirga.
