Active PPP worker and former Nazim Sajjad Ahmad joined PTI.

CHITRAL: Former Nazim of Union Council Chitral-II and an active worker of Pakistan Peoples Party Sajjad Ahmad announced and joined Pakistan Tehreeki Insaf (PTI). Talking to this scribe he said that he was already a worker of PTI  but due to some reasons I had joined PPP to fulfill mission of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed hence now the situation has been totally changed and I  want to serve the people by joining Pakistan Tahreeki Insaf. He said that Imran Khan is a prominent person who recognized the country in cricket field on world level and now serving the people as a politician. He said I am very much impressed from his personality because no charges of allegations have been framed against him. Meanwhile social and political circle of Chitral highly hailed and appreciated this step of Sajjad Ahmad Khan for better service of the area.

Rumboor village of Kalash valleys loose its beauty due to apathy of the authority.

CHITRAL: The most popular and rare nation of the world Kalash community who having very unique culture is living here in 3 valleys. Bumborate, Birir and Rumboor. Hence roads linking to these valleys are in a very dilapidated condition. Its dilemma is not only poor communication system but also lack of other civic amenities like health, education etc. Kalash people are deprived from phone facility despite that a telephone exchange has been installed at Bumborate only for that area but its solar system out of order and not working properly. The remaining two valleys are totally deprived from communication facility because there is no mobile networking no telephone and no wirlessloop  (V PTCL). Rumboor is one of them the most beautiful and attractive valley but inhabitants of this beautiful valley are deprived from basic facilities totally. There is no blacktop road, no phone facility, no hospital except of a small dispensary, which is also, lack of medicines and no high school or college.

Kalash women carrying water in pitches from far flung areas on their heads. There is no proper transport facility in the valley in case of emergency people are compelled to carry their patients in a cot by feet for 17 KM. And sometimes they expire on their way before reaching to the hospital. There is no convincing any transport available for the valley after 2. O’clock in afternoon in case of emergency transporter charges huge amount from passengers.

There is no middle, high school for boys or girls and that is why male and female students travel by feet to Bumborate high school. Water in the valley have been freeze and people facing great problems in getting potable drinking water. Kalash women usually washing their cloth in water canal (stream) flowing outside of the valley. There is acute shortage of Bashalini (menses houses for Kalsh women where they shifting in case of their monthly menses and delivery because in Kalash religious they banned to stay inside the house during this period). Miss Meetagul of Rumboor while talking this scribe that she is under BA but due to no educational facility in the valley she has shifted Chitral and living in hostel of a private College.  Muneer  Ahmad a minority councilor of Union council Ayun from this valley told that they facing great problems and they are being treating as step mother by our rulers because the valley is still deprived from electricity and telephone facility hence there is a private micro hydro power house in the valley but it is not sufficient  to electrify the whole valley. He said that tourists arriving here from world level but they facing great problems due to no communication network or any other civic facilities for them in the valley. He said that we can cash  Eco tourism in this valley if we provide facilities to tourists both domestic and foreigners. He appeal Federal as well Provincial government for providing basic facilities and civic amenities to dwellers of this valley because these people have international importance because of heir unique culture.
