One Day Principals Seminar on Introduction to Students Quality Circle A portal of peace and Quality Education held.
CHITRAL: A day long Principals seminar of introduction to student’s quality circle a portal of peace and quality education was held here in a local hotel. The seminar was organized by Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ). The seminar was attended by a large number of both male and female principals from government as well as private schools and colleges. Dr Rahim Khan briefed the stakeholders regarding different ways and means for improvement of students learning quality and to eradicate their hesitations. He said that most of our students feel shame at first but then they encouraged and motivate they perform excellently. He stressed upon teachers and principals to must take a step for improvement of their students quality education. Initiation, training, education, recognition and motivations are the basic keys for students quality circle improvement. And make each students at your school good and smart and to contribute your share in this crusade. He said that stage fright can only be de-rooted by giving opportunities to shiny students to come forward and exhibit their performance before the audiences. He emphasized on all participants to take part in this awareness campaign and impart best knowledge and quality education to others.
Some of the participants also spoke on the occasion they were Islamuddin Principal Pamir public school and College Garamchishma, Sultana Principal Aga Khan Highier Secondary School for Girls Koragh and Amanullah Assistant District Education Officer Chitral. They said that main problem erecting from administration side and there is lack of implementation. They said that teachers should to not adopt this profession as a job but as a motivation and worship and they must be committed for improving students quality circle. They said that we are the nation builders and should to perform excellence role in imparting quality education. Teaching is a social transformation and teachers are being consider social doctors. They lamented lack of curriculum in schools as well as different varieties of textbook also causing for discrimination in education system. They criticized government text book board having several mistakes in their books. They criticized teachers of government institutions that they take no interest in enhancement of education standard despite that they drawing heavy salaries but teachers of private school comparatively more committed than government schools teachers with the fact they getting less honorarium. At last Zulfiqar Ali Khan coordinator AFAQ Chitral thanked all participants conveying them a message to must be committed and honest in their profession.
61 Birth Anniversary of martyred Benazir Bhutto celebrated at Chitral.
CHITRAL: 61 Birth Anniversary of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto the first female prime minister of Pakistan was celebrated at PIA square main Shahi Road Chitral. Provincial Minister for population welfare was the chief guest on the occasion. Addressing on the occasion the speakers paid rich tribute to Benazir Bhutto who was martyred for the nation and given sacrifice of her life. They said that our opposite groups talking about mid term election but we will complete our tenure of five years. They demanded from the federal government for releasing fund for Lawari tunnel to complete the project which is a matter of life and death for the people of Chitral. Hence main road remained closed for hours due to this celebration. A large number of party workers participated in the birth anniversary.
