WASHINGTON:Presedent Asif Ali Zardari has strongly rejected suggestions that Pakistan in some way involve in last week,s deadly attacks on Mumbai,asserting no evidence has been brought substantiate such claim.
Appeaing in a interview on a foreign news channel,Zardari said he believed that Mumbai Attackers were "stateless Actors",and that the state of Pakistan was in no way responsible of this attacks.
He pledges to look in to any proof of any Pakistani individual,s link to the Mumbai incident, if it is provided to Islamabad.
"i think these are statelees actors who have been operating all throughout the region,"the Pakistani Presedent stated in Tuesday night in a Interview, during witch he pointed out that Pakistan has been itself the victum of terrorism and fighting the menace resolutly.
"The gunmen plus the planners,whoever they are (are)stateless actors who have been holding hostage the whole world,"he added.
The state of Pakistan is no way responsible,Zardari stated,while also Sympathizing with the Indian,s victums of the tragedy.
"…Even the White House and American CIA also said today that of course Pakistan is not involved,we are part of the victam,Larry. im a victam,the state of Pakistan is a victum.We are the victam of this war,and im sorry for the Indians,and i feel sorry for them".
The presedent said that his elected Government has nothing to do with any militant activity against India.
"I can assured the world from my side,from my army side,and from my parlimant side,and the people of Pakistan that we are not helping suce kind of activity."
Zardari confirmed he is willing to have Pakistani security official participate with India in joint Investigation.
We have offered to take this step forwered and cooperate with the Indians.i am welling to have my security advisors and their security
in charge of our intelligence security,have a joint committee witch we have proposed to the Indian for a joint investigation in a Mumbai incident."
Asked about the suspect in costudy ,who the Indians claim to be a Pakistani ,Zardari said:"We have not been given any tangible proof to say that he is definitely a Pakistani.I very much doubt it,Larry,that he is Pakistani.
He told the channel that stateless individuals are killing citiznes in Pakistan.Like i said,these are stateless individuals,we have had incidents in last two days in Karachi witch we have lost 40 to 45 people,hundered are injured.these are stateless actors who are moving throughout this region,"
"I am definitely to look in to all possibility of anu proof that is given to us,"Zardari said when Question about Indian allegations.
At the movment, these are just names of individuals.no proof,no investigations,nothing has been brought forward,"he said in response to a question about New delhi asking for certain individuals.
"If proof of the individauls’involvment is provided, he said "we would try them in our courts, we would try them in our land,and we would sentence them."
Presedent of Pakistan said in answer to a question that ‘Lashker-e-tayyeba’is "banned organization"in Pakistan and around the world.
