The President, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee presented the Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) to the Noble Laureate, Kailash Satyarthi at the 64th Convocation of Punjab University, in Chandigarh, Punjab on March 14, 2015. The Governor of Punjab and Haryana and Administrator UT of Chandigarh, Mr. Kaptan Singh Solanki, the Chief Minister of Haryana, Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar and the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Prakash Singh Badal are also seen.
